Tyranny ~ The War Between Good & Evil Begins Tomorrow

[dropcap size=small]I[/dropcap]n Tyranny, the grand war between good and evil is over – and the forces of evil, led by Kyros the Overlord, have won. The Overlord’s merciless armies dominate the face of the world, and its denizens must find their new roles within the war-torn realm… even as discord begins to rumble among the ranks of Kyros’ most powerful Archons.

Players will experience the new world order under the Overlord in a reactive role-playing game (RPG), interacting with the populace as a powerful Fatebinder in the Overlord’s forces — roaming the lands to inspire loyalty or fear as they bring control to the last holdouts of the Tiers.

Tyranny - #GTUSA 2

“‘Choice’ remains a big buzzword in RPGs and games as a whole, but Tyranny’s approach, even outside its be-the-bad-guy premise, is original and effective. ” –PC Gamer

“Conquest mode, like Tyranny’s middle finger to cliché fantasy, shows a willingness to take risks in pursuit of better stories. And the more time I spend playing Tyranny, the more I’m beginning to feel like the risk is paying off.” –PCGamesN

“Between the small dialogue touches and the ever-present skill checks, my impression is a game where character really matters. You will not be able to see everything Tyranny has to offer in one playthrough. It’s simply not possible.” –Rock Paper Shotgun
