Rockstar Announces Red Dead Redemption 2 Has Been Delayed

Fans Getting Restless Waiting For Red Dead Redemtion 2

It has been announced that Red Dead Redemtion 2 will be delayed until Spring of 2018.

The original estimated time of arrival on PS4 and Xbox One was originally planned to be in Fall of 2017. Rockstar games updated in a post that now we will be waiting until spring of 2018.

That is another 6 months of waiting. We want RDR2 now Rockstar!!!

“This outlaw epic set across the vast and unforgiving American heartland will be the first Rockstar game created from the ground up for the latest generation of console hardware, and some extra time is necessary to ensure that we can deliver the best experience possible for our fans,” Said Rockstar.

To compensate for the delay, Rockstar offered two things: that there would be “more details about the game this summer” and a selection of new screenshots to check out.

Here are the promised screenshots below.

Its normal to get impatient when your really waiting for a game of this caliber. The original RDR was one of the best games hands down of the last generation, so of course we’re excited. In the long run its better for game producers to take there time and get it right. Hopefully we won’t see another delay in 2018 though.
