Phil Spencer Provides Update on E3 2016 Planning

E3 is just a couple of months away, Microsoft will be at the event with all things Xbox and Windows 10. We don’t know what the company has planned for the event but whatever it is, Phil Spencer is pretty happy with it. Xbox executive Phil Spencer shared a message on Twitter recently in which he says a recent “review” of the company’s plans for this year’s show went well.

“Great E3 review today,” he said. “Teams did a great job highlighting what they have coming. Inspiring team#TEAMXBOX.”

Microsoft has yet to officially announce a briefing for E3 2016, though if history is any indication, fans can expect Microsoft to get things started on the Monday morning of E3 week.

If we are to assume, Microsoft would be bringing Gears of War 4, Halo Wars 2, ReCore, and handful of new IPs. This year will be a little different as Microsoft won’t be presenting the next Call of Duty.

Sony and Activision are partners which means PlayStation is now the face of Call of Duty. Activision isn’t attending the event but Sony’s booth will let players try out the next Call of Duty. Sony will also be revealing it at its E3 presser.

What are you hoping to see from Microsoft at E3 2016? Let us know in the comments below!
