Fallout devs talk vacation plans on Nuka World launch day video

Summer may be coming to a close, but we’ve still got time for a vacation to Nuka World.

Today is the launch day to the final Fallout 4 DLC, Nuka World. In America, it will be available on Steam at 8pm E.S.T. Tomorrow is the official launch day for the rest of the world!

Fallout 4’s lead quest designer, Alan Nanes, says Nuka World will be a lighthearted vacation for players after the stress of saving the commonwealth and Far Harbor. “I’d say that this is a great capper for the experience of Fallout 4,” Nanes says. “As far as working on a project of this duration, it’s a nice way of saying, ‘hey – it’s time for a vacation now.'”

Nuka World features three raider gangs: the violent Disciples, the smooth Operators, and the crazy Path! Armor choices for the free actions reflect their distinct personalities.

New weapons include the Homemade Assault Rifle, the Thirst Zapper, the Paddleball, and the Acid Soaker. According to Mark Teare, lead artist, discovering the secrets of how the government weaponized Nuka Cola is the secret to upgrading the weapons.

This is the last DLC for Fallout 4. After this, Bethesda turns to projects unknown, and rumour has it that Obsidian is developing a Fallout: New Orleans. Some believe however that some believe that rumour is likely fake.

Still, one can hope! In the meantime, check out Nuka World and be sure to mod your game first.
