Nintendo’s Dragalia Lost Success

Nintendo’s recent mobile release title Dragalia Lost is doing very well. According to Sensor Tower data, Dragalia Lost has earned more than Super Mario and Animal Crossing revenue from release to this date.  The RPG game was achieved $50 million revenue in December 2018. Now its total revenue approximately reached $72 million since its release.

Japan Is Big Part of the Dragalia Lost’s Revenue

Super Mario Run was released in December 2016. Between its release and today, it grossed $68.8 million. On the other hand, Animal Grossing: Pocket Camp has generated $70.8 million since its launch in November 2017. Now Dragalia Lost is ahead of them in terms of revenue with $72 million. The most contribution to revenue of Dragalia Lost is coming from Japan (%65). Nintendo’s latest title was number 29 on the mobile game revenue list of Japan last month. Following Japan, the USA comes after with %18 contribution to the generated revenue. Apart from mobile games, Nintendo Switch was also very successful in overall at the USA in January 2019.

Nintendo’s Best Performing Mobile Game

When we consider all of other Nintendo titles, these figures are relatively low. As for the Fire Emblem Heroes, released in February 2017 and made over $500 million. Considering the monthly revenue, Dragalia Lost is looking good. In terms of monthly revenue, Dragalia made $15.7 million while Fire Emblem Heroes making $20.7 million. However, let me remind you this; Dragalia Lost success based in only 5 countries. On the other hand, Fire Emblem Heroes can be accessible from 40 countries. This is both hopeful and great for Dragalia Lost. Can you imagine if it spread and supported in more countries?
