Lindsey Stirling – Queen of Gaming Melodies

A Tribute To The Queen of Gaming Melodies Lindsey Stirling

Lindsey Stirling is an acclaimed violinist from Gilbert, AZ. She has been come to be known for her unique classic violin style infused with electronic beats. She is an amazing performance artist who incorporates ballet dancing with her Fairy-like appearance.

If this Sugar Plumb wasn’t already cool enough, she really got the attention of the World Gaming Community at E3 2012 when she performed the Zelda melody with a live orchestra. Then she did a follow up performance 2 years later with the Dragon Age: Inquisition theme song live at The Game Awards 2014 in Las Vegas.

Lindsey Stirling’s isn’t just known for her gaming based music, but I can’t think of any female artist more deserving of the title of Queen of Gaming Music. If you only know of her from her E3 performances, I highly recommend you check out her YouTube channel here.

The first time I caught a glimpse of Lindsey Stirling, she was dressed up like Link from Legend of Zelda. Her performance with this orchestra was strait up amazing! I probably should add that she pulled off Link better then any Male Cosplayer ever! Lol…

If her performance wasn’t enough for you at E3 in 2012, she really helped etch her name into gaming history with this epic live performance of the Dragon Age: Inquisition theme song at The Game Awards 2014 in Las Vegas. This time the gaming world got a chance to see how dazzling she really is when not dressed as a boy from Hyrule.

Lindsey’s Does Dragon Age Even Better

If you thought her live performance of the Dragon Age: Inquisition theme song was awesome, then you should love this epic music video from her channel! Stirling got even cooler for me when I seen this!

I’m not exactly sure how official this Assassins Creed 3 trail is, but it is something else that goes to show how loved Lindsey Stirling has become by the Gaming Community. She is an amazing all around artist, and I recommend you check all of her videos out. I hope to see many more gaming based music videos and live performances from her in the future…

Gamers Love You Lindsey!!!
