Have you ever wondered who would win a fight between the Justice League vs. The Avengers? It would be the ultimate fantasy fight for me.
So I used “Mr_Nygren’s Marvel VS DC-Universe MUGEN” to emulate the battle. If you haven’t heard of this amazing free fan-made MUGEN game by Mr Nygren I highly recommend you check it out.
This game is packed with characters from both the Marvel and DC Universes. It has nearly every iconic character that you can think of. The controller mechanics are smooth and work great. Every once in a while I caught a glitch, but that’s to be expected of such a detailed free fan-made game.
For this simulation I chose my 8 favorite characters from both The Justice League and The Avengers. I paired them in sub-teams of 2 going in order off of the character roster. The last team with a sub-team standing is the winner.
This game is very much like the Marvel vs. Capcom games. The developer obviously put a lot of love and detail into this project. Every character from what I can tell has their own signature moves.
Now I know this simulation is in no way how this fantasy fight would really play out, but it was fun to leave it up to chance and watch how the A.I. played it out.
The Justice Leagues Sub-Teams consisted of Batman & Superman, Green Lantern & Flash, Wonder Women & The Martian Manhunter, Cyborg & Hawkgirl
The Avengers Sub-Teams consisted of Captain America & Iron Man, Thor & The Hulk, Antman & Vision, and The Black Panther & Mrs Marvel.
During this epic simulation we got to see some interesting match ups. The Black Panther throws down with Batman, The Martian fights Vision, and Wonder Woman goes at it with Mrs Marvel.
I don’t want to spoil the battle, but only one Sub-Team survives. It wasn’t the team I initially predicted. If you read this before watching the video see if you can predict the winner.
Mr_Nygren’s Marvel VS DC-Universe MUGEN is an amazing fighting game. It has its small flaws, but overall I’m wow’d by it. There are just so many characters, and so much detail.
