‘Five Nights at Freddy’s’-Related ‘Sister Location’ Gets its First Trailer, and it’s Pretty Creepy

By the time the Five Nights at Freddy’s franchise is done, it will probably be more lucrative than the actual Chuck E. Cheese chain. Because what kid wants to be a kid, when they can feel all grown-up by playing games that scare the hell out of them?

Scott Cawthon has now released the newest trailer for Five Nights At Freddy’s: Sister Location, a new spin-off from the main Five Nights At Freddy’s series. The trailer puts a strong focus on the new animatronics and their underground location.

The tagline featured on a teaser website said: “There was never just one.”

Some speculate that players will be a security guard at an underground military facility where they’ll need to protect themselves against a new set of deadly, possessed animatronic puppets.

We briefly get to see what looks like an elevator security station quickly descending. It appears to have a fan overhead and a security console at the front. The setup looks similar to other Five Nights At Freddy’s titles, where players are in a single location and must micromanage their survival using a few tricks and hiding techniques.

The first Five Nights at Freddy’s debuted in August 2014 on PC and has since been ported to iOS.

Three sequels have been released since, while spinoff Five Nights at Freddy’s World came out in January this year. However, it was removed from sale after complaints that it had been released too early and felt unfinished.

Five Nights at Freddy’s: Sister Location is presumably in development for PC and is due out this fall. What are you hoping to see from it? Let us know in the comments below!
