Eric Fenstermaker Of Obsidian Is Interested In Doing A Fallout 4 Follow-up

A developer from Obsidian Entertainment, the studio behind New Vegas, says they are interested in working on more Fallout material.

Eric Fenstermaker of Obsidian was asked on Twitter if they “could do another Fallout game, Fallout New Orleans, perhaps.

New Vegas I’m always up for working on a Fallout,” he replied, “I think most of us generally are. [It’s a] really fun property to work with.

Since Fallout: New Vegas, Obsidian has released Southpark: The Stick of Truth and Dungeon Siege 3. It also used Kickstart to fund Pillars of Eternity, which received great ratings.

We don’t know if Bethesda is still open to letting another studio work on the Fallout series. In the mean time Bethesda is still working on additional content for FO4. In November 2015, They teased about the upcoming Fallout 4 expansion packs.

This game is huge, but it’s not just this launch,” Bethesda said. “It’s going to be well deep into next year. It’s like the game is done but it’s not done, because until everybody plays it, it’s not really done. Because what they bring to it is really important; we’re going to see what people like, what they want more of, what they want different, and we’re going to do that.

Fallout 4 was released on Nov 10th for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. We still don’t know what additional content will be added, but we know we still have more to look forward to.
