Dark Souls 3’s First DLC Out Now For PS4, Xbox One & PC

Dark Souls 3’s first portion of DLC jumped the gun on its official launch date, following its premature arrival on consoles last week. It’s now officially live worldwide.

Bandai Namco has put out a slick video for the expansion, featuring an eerie voiceover and lots of action, including bossfights and more. It uses a cover of Nirvana’s “Lake of Fire.” Check it out in the embed below.

Dark Souls III – Ashes of Ariandel introduces new PvP modes, along with the PvE aspect of the DLC. Arenas in Dark Souls III – Ashes of Ariandel allow players to access new options and modifiers, giving the players more control of the game. You can play free-for-all or team up with two to six other players and battle your opponents in the arena. To access the Arena, however, you will have to defeat an optional boss.

If you own the Dark Souls 3 Season Pass, you can download the DLC straight away from the PSN, Xbox Marketplace or Steam. Otherwise, whip out your credit card and grab the pack to kick things off.
