The cinematic director’s of this month World War I shooter Battlefield 1 are making an action movie, according to a new report.
Deadline reports that Hummingbird, the upcoming action movie from John McClain, is moving forward at Fundamental Films, and Battlefield 1 cinematic directors Marcus Kryler and Fredrik Akerström are on board to helm. The story follows a female black ops assassin who “discovers she’s more than just a hired gun but an entirely new breed of weapon.”
There is no word yet on who might star in Hummingbird, when shooting will begin, or when the film will come out.
Battlefield 1 released last week for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC.
