2017 North American Collegiate Grand Finals In Toronto


Collegiate StarLeague and Cineplex will Crown Champions at the 2017 North American Collegiate Grand Finals in Toronto


  • The CSL North American Collegiate Grand Finals will be the culminating collegiate esports event for the record breaking 2016-17 season.
  • More than 900 universities and colleges participated in the season that saw more than 1,500 teams compete from October 2016 to April 2017 across six games and three different platforms.


  • Friday May 12 (12:30 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.)
    • Starcraft II: University of Waterloo, University of Montreal, University of Connecticut, and Temple University
    • League of Legends Invitational: University of British Columbia, Simon Fraser University, McMaster University and the University of Toronto
  • Saturday May 13 (2:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.)
    • DotA2: University of Connecticut, California State University Long Beach, University of California Davis and University of British Columbia
    • Panel Presentations:
      • 2:30pm – The Business of Esports
      • 6:00pm – The Growth & Role of Esports on College Campuses
  • Sunday May 14 (3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.)
    • Counter Strike: Global Offensive: University of California Irvine, University of British Columbia, University of California Los Angeles and CUNY Baruch
    • Panel Presentations:
      • 2:00pm – Game Development
      • 6:00pm – Careers In Esports
