GAMERS ASSEMBLY OPENS ITS DOORS TOMORROW!
18th Annual eSports Event Expected to See More Than 1,900 Players and 20,000 Attendees Over 3 Days at Exposition Park in Poitiers, France
Gamers Assembly, a unique and historic eSports event that takes place April 15-17, 2017 at Exhibition Park in Poitiers, France – with 72 hours of video games and tournaments playing the latest, hottest titles – today announced they are ready to accommodate the expected 1,900 players and 20,000 attendees at this year’s event, which starts tomorrow – April 15, 2017.
“This year’s edition celebrates our solid and long-lasting partnership with Grand Poitiers, a relationship that has allowed us to grow over the years. This year, we will have 18 tournaments, numerous conferences, an expo, a space dedicated to families and lots of surprises all weekend,” said Vincent Colas, president, FuturoLAN. “We hope to continue to grow with the support of our partners, many of which have been with us since the beginning, including le Département de la Vienne, Verygames or NADEO! Some are joining us for the first time, like PMU, Orange and HyperX and we want to thank all of them for their support!”
Starting at 10am tomorrow, players and attendees alike can attend the Opening Ceremony, which will feature Spdy and Camak, the official hosts of the event, as well as special guest speakers such as Alain Claeys, deputy Mayor, Poitiers and president of Grand Poitiers, for the opening of Gamers Assembly 2017.

Since its arrival at Exhibition Park in 2014, Gamers Assembly is growing thanks to its most important partnership with Grand Poitiers. Known for its Roman architectural treasures, its bells and its chivalrous history, Grand Poitiers is set up to be the stronghold of French eSports, all with a European flair thanks notably to the historic presence of the Gamers Assembly.
