Xbox One Backward Compatibility Adds Two Games Jary Zaidi April 15, 2016 Gaming, Microsoft, News 1 The list of Xbox 360 games that can be played on Xbox One grows a little further today, with two new games being added. Doom 3 BFG Edition, the re-release of id Software’s Doom 3 that came out in 2012, is now playable on Xbox One via the console’s Backward Compatibility feature. Also playable on Xbox One is Monaco, which is a 2D stealth action co-op video game from developers Pocketwatch Games. The game features four different campaigns with eight characters, and all have different abilities. The game lets players intervene in different locations, where players have to avoid guards and steal the loot. The reveal was made via a tweet from Major Nelson aka Larry Hryb, director of programming at Microsoft.
