Square Enix announced today that there will be another installment into the Valkyrie Profile series, Valykrie Anatomia: The Origin. There are very few details given at the moment, but word is that the game will release sometime in Japan in the next few months.
A teaser website was released, that shows off little more than the title and the fact that it is an RPG. There is also no word as to what platforms the game will be releasing for.
The Valkyrie Profile series started back on the PlayStation in Japan in 1999 with Valkyrie Profile. That same game was later ported to the PSP in 2006, with two more installments added after that. The last two games released in the series was Valkyrie Profile 2: Silmeria for the PS2 in 2006 and the last one being for the Nintendo DS in 2008, Valkyrie Profile: Covenant of the Plume.
As soon as there is more information about the release, you can be sure that we will let you know as soon as is possible.
