Sony’s “Fat Princess” has now started its diet as the game is coming to an end.

Gamespot is reporting that Fat Princess: Piece of Cake is the IP in question and that it will be shutting down for the iPhone, Android and the PlayStation Vita starting January 1st, 2017.

According to the article, in-app purchases and the cash shop for the Fat Princess mobile spin-off have been disabled. This also includes disabling earning a voucher to purchase the PS3 version of Fat Princess.

You won’t be able to download the game after January 1st however, be able to play Piece of Cake in offline mode for as long as you have it on your device.

The “Fat Princess” Piece of Cake was first released in 2009 for Playstation 3, and was released on PSP in 2010 and transported to PS Vita and mobile device in 2014. “Fat Princess” features more of a multiplayer game, 2 teams with 16 members each battle to rescue the “Fat Princess” as each team can feed her a slice of cake, making her heavier to bring back to their respective base.
