Konami Recycle Phantom Pain map for “Metal Gear Survive”

Konami has recycled the Phantom Pain Map

Hideo Kojima responded hard and fast to Konami’s attempt to create a “Metal Gear” zombie survival game without the series auteur. According to IGN, Kojima took to the stage at the Toyko Game Show and said, “This has nothing to do with me.”

He continued, “The Metal Gear games are about political fiction and espionage… “Where do zombies fit in with that?”

Perhaps even more damning than Kojima’s condemnation was the footage released by YouTube User Umanoashi, which reveals recycled map assets from MGS: The Phantom Pain.
I wonder what Kojima will say when he realized Konami recycled the Phantom Pain Map?

Metal Gear Survive is slated for a 2017 release date. Kojima has stated that his next game, Death Stranding, will come out before the Toyko Olympics.
