Sony chief Shawn Layden may find himself sitting on Activision boss Bobby Kotick’s naughty step right now, because it seems that the PlayStation Store has leaked the name of the next Call of Duty game. In development at Infinity Ward and set to be revealed next week, it looks like the next entry in the billion dollar brand is subtitled Infinite Warfare. Really, guys?
The website CharlieIntel.com, reports that the North American version of the PlayStation Store received its weekly update and added a section for “Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare.” No new “Call of Duty” game has been announced but “Infinite Warfare” now appears to be the name of the upcoming Infinity Ward game. The store provided no further details about the game.
In a related rumor, according to Twitter user @JimSterling, the next “Call of Duty” game will be revealed next Tuesday, May 3.

Sterling posted a photo of a retail store document that shows the store will be receiving display images for the new “Call of Duty” game on May 3.
Activision recently announced that its recent partnership with PlayStation will continue into 2017 for Infinity Ward’s new “CoD” game. Activision also announced that it will not have a booth during the upcoming E3 but gameplay from the upcoming game will be revealed during PlayStation’s press conferences.
