It’s probably not the kind of Monday someone was expecting to have, but as a result we’ve now got a little more Overwatch information than we expected.
That information, which Blizzard is yet to confirm, is that Overwatch will be released on May 24 in at least the United States.
The dates were supposedly published on IGN’s desktop and mobile websites from what at this stage appears to be human or technical error. Although the advert for Blizzard’s team-based multiplayer shooter has since been removed, images of it were captured and posted on Reddit. The smaller version of the ad also suggests that early access will begin from May 3, provided you pre-order. You only have until April 29 to pre-order for early access, however.

Overwatch was initially revealed as a PC game, but in November 2015 Blizzard added announced Overwatch for Xbox One and PS4. The game is not free-to-play and it will not offer cross-platform play across PC and consoles due to the advantage keyboard and mouse players might have.
