The Lego Movie 2, officially titled The Lego Movie Sequel, is getting ready to get off the ground and has just found a new director in the form of Trolls helmer Mike Mitchell.

Previously slated director Rob Schrab (Community, The Mindy Project) is said to have dropped out of the project due to “creative differences.” (Source: THR). Phil Lord and Chris Miller, current Han Solo stand-alone directors and directors of the original (surprisingly good) Lego Movie, wrote the first draft of the script, with BoJack Horseman creator Raphael Bob-Waksberg having followed after with the second.

The Lego Movie 2 was originally set for a May 2018 release, but it was recently delayed to February 8, 2019. However, fans won’t have to wait until 2019 for their next dose of big screen Lego action. The Lego Batman Movie is due to hit theaters on February 10, 2017, while The Lego Ninjago Movie is currently scheduled for a September 22, 2017 release.
