FIFA 17 has had a record breaking launch with sales up 18% compared to those of FIFA 16, and also just manages to beat sales of FIFA 13 to gain the highest week one sales of the series ever. PlayStation 4 sales accounted for 53% of all copies, withe legacy editions managing just 6% of sales.

Another new title out last week in Forza Horizon 3 saw decent sales numbers as well but couldn’t quite push past FIFA 17. BioShock: The Collection which had been the holder of the top spot for two straight weeks took a bit of a tumble to fourth place while Lego Star Wars: The Force Awakens saw a rather surprising jump from ninth on the charts a week ago, to third this past week. Down in the lower end of the top ten, Destiny: The Collection, Rocket League, NBA 2K17, and Grand Theft Auto V occupied the spots.
