Fallout 4’s PC and PlayStation 4 versions are getting new updates next week, Bethesda has announced.

The PS4 patch will feature PS4 Pro support and the PC patch will include a High-Resolution Texture Pack.

The download is free but you will need an additional 58 GB of available space to install the texture pack.

“Consider this free download a love letter to our amazing PC fans that have supported us – not just with Fallout 4, but across multiple decades and games.” – Bethesda said in a blog post.

“If your system can handle it, the Commonwealth will look better than ever,” Bethesda continued. “Give it a shot and if you need to return to the original textures, you can disable them within the game’s launcher menu.”

Once the update is live, PS4 Pro owners will be able to play Fallout 4 in native 1440p resolution, complete with enhanced lighting and graphic features, including enhanced Godray effects and enhanced draw distance for trees, grass, objects, and NPCs.
