Polish game studio “The Farm 51”, is bringing us a very creepy vr experience. In this game you will explore the desolated ruins of Chernobyl, and neighboring town Pripyat. Gives me the chills just thinking about it.

In the game you will take the role of a documentary crew, sent to uncover the mysteries surrounding the towns tragic events. It features many lifelike recreations of Chernobyl and Pripyat, which has been restricted to most since the events of 1986.

“The Farm 51 was granted special scientific access to areas unavailable to tourists, spending dozens of hours in the area and using its Reality 51 technology to scan locations in detail,” says The Farm 51.

Using this advanced scanning technology, we can expect a real life feel of Chernobyl and Pripyat. Such as peeling paint, the spooky rides, rusty objects, old cash registers, etc. As you can see from the short documentary type video, they went all out on this project.

The Chernobyl VR Project will be releasing on the Oculus, PlayStation VR, Vive, and Samsung Gear VR.
