Doom is Finally Coming | Release Date Announced

After much anticipation and disappointment in the Doom 3 and Doom movie release. Bethesda has finally announced the new Dooms release date, May 13th. Launching on PS4, XBox1 and PC simultaneously. Bethesda also announced the release of a “premium collector’s edition,” as well as bonuses for players who pre-order the game.

The collectors edition will include a 12” statue of the Revenant created from the actual 3D model in the games files. The statue is mounted on an LED base with slow- spinning turbine from the UAC facility on Mars. The collector’s edition also includes a copy of the game and comes in a “battle worthy metal case.”

Pre-Ordering either versions of doom will get the player the Demon Multiplayer Pack, which includes, “a unique demon armor set with three skin variations, six metallic paint colors,” As well as player customization objects for your weapons and armor.

The pre-order bonuses also include six “Hack Modules,” something Bethesda describes as “one-time consumable items that can give you an edge in a multiplayer match.”

The collection edition is available for pre-order now, the cost being $120.00. The standard edition is also available for pre-order at regular price.
