December

Celebrate the Holidays with Four Free Titles

Amongst the madness of their Black Friday Sale, Microsoft has announced their December Games with Gold titles. Players with an Xbox Live Gold subscription will receive Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition and Outlast for Xbox One, and Outland along with Burnout Paradise for the Xbox 360. Both titles for the Xbox 360 are playable on Xbox One through backward compatibility. As always all four games are free, and are yours forever, as long as you download them.

Not just another GTA clone, Sleeping Dogs drops players in an open sandbox with a focus on combat, gunplay, and parkour. As Wei Shen, an undercover cop, players infiltrate the Sun On Yee Triads all while exploring Hong Kong. Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition is free for all of December.

Relive the horrors of the Mount Massive Asylum with Outlast, one final time. With nothing but a camcorder and some batteries, players must survive the night as they avoid the numerous inhabitants of the asylum. Just ahead of Outlast 2’s release, Outlast will be available for free from Dec. 16 to Jan. 15.

Outland, published by Ubi Soft, is an action packed sidescroller with a focus on different colored weapons. Players switch between light and dark weapons to help traverse the environment and get an upper hand on different enemies. Outland is available for free from Dec. 1-15.

With Burnout Paradise, players can return to Paradise City for another free roam crash fest.  In Showtime mode players compete to create the most damage in certain areas. Each intersection of traffic becomes a delicate puzzle, as players search for the sweet spot for creating carnage. Burnout Paradise will be available for free from Dec. 16-31.

November Games with Gold title, Murdered: Soul Suspect is still available until Dec. 15.
