Ryse and Shine


Microsoft has announced their April lineup for Games with Gold. Players with an Xbox Live Gold subscription can download Ryse: Son of Rome and The Walking Dead: Season 2 for Xbox One, and Darksiders along with Assassin’s Creed Revelations for the Xbox 360. Both titles for Xbox 360 are playable on Xbox One through backwards compatibility.

Xbox One

Jump back to the launch of the Xbox One with Crytek’s Ryse: Son of Rome. Defend the Roman Empire as Marius Titus, a Roman soldier on the hunt for revenge. Hack and slash through numerous enemies in the beautiful world of Ryse. Add a friend to the mix with Gladiator Mode and face many difficult challenges together in the Coliseum. Players will have the opportunity to pick up Ryse throughout the whole month of April.

Ahead of the latest episodic release for season 3, players running behind can now play through The Walking Dead: Season 2 for free. Continue the adventure of Clementine, a young orphan fighting to survive the post-apocalyptic world. Meet new allies and make choices that will follow you throughout the five-part season. The Walking Dead: Season 2 will be available for free from April 16 to May 15.

Xbox 360

Take control of War, one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, in Darksiders. Caught in the final battle between Heaven and Hell, War will fight through legions of angels and demons. Players will dispatch hordes of foes with new weapons and abilities collected throughout the world. Darksiders is available for free April 1-15.

Embark on one final adventure with Ezio Auditore in Assassin’s Creed Revelations. Explore the open world of Constantinople in search of the lost library of the assassins. Assassin’s Creed Revelations will be available for free April 16-31.

March Games with Gold title, Layers of Fear, is still available until April 15.
